A cramped map and document shop tucked into the Artisan Quarter of Charterhall, a few blocks from the Clerk St. Typesetters. Its shelves are dense with rolled charts, property surveys, and historical certificates — the kind of material that attracts scholars, solicitors, and anyone who needs something authenticated quietly. The proprietor is Oswin Rall, a cautious and precise man who has run the shop for years, dealing in legitimate rarities alongside more discreet arrangements.
Inside, the shop is barely wide enough for one person to walk the length of the counter that runs the whole room. The wall behind it is a wall of cubbies stuffed with rolled parchment, stacked books and records; at one end sits a large magnifying lens and the instruments of authentication. There is a back room, though customers never see into it.
- Visited by Freakshow and Boo after the fall of the Reclaimer’s Circle. Oswin Rall proved willing to serve as the Old Town Echoes’ conduit in place of Aldric Venn, on the condition that they first bring him Sigmund Tarley’s “The Aria” out of the Charterhall Bluecoat evidence lock-up. Should that arrangement be struck, the Meridian would serve the crew as a loyal fence. Session 13
