Occupation: Shopkeeper (maps and documents)
Affiliation: none (formerly the Reclaimer’s Circle, on retainer)
A cautious and precise man who has run The Meridian, a cramped map and document shop in the Artisan Quarter of Charterhall, for years — dealing in legitimate rarities alongside more discreet arrangements. His shop has long served the Reclaimer’s Circle as a place to certify antiques, honestly or otherwise.
- Overheard, through rumor gathered by Freakshow, to have gone uptown, gotten drunk, and complained loudly that the Circle had stopped paying him. His grievance was one of many — across the Alchemist Parish, people on the Circle’s payroll were voicing the same complaint as the organization’s coin ran dry. Session 12
- Received Freakshow and Boo at The Meridian and made them wait three silent minutes while he finished condemning a painting as an “absolute forgery.” Fastidious, openly contemptuous of amateurs, and unimpressed by the look and smell of his visitors — but he knew exactly who they were, and felt nothing much about Aldric Venn’s death beyond the years of unpaid bills. He allowed that new leadership in the district might suit him just as well, waving off the question of what he was owed: “I’ll make plenty as your conduit.” Session 13
- Named his price for the partnership on a neatly folded scrap of paper: Sigmund Tarley’s “The Aria”, held in the Charterhall Bluecoat evidence lock-up. Asked whether there was any urgency, he smiled unpleasantly and said he doubted that particular item was going anywhere soon. Session 13
