A work by Sigmund Tarley known as “The Aria” — the price Oswin Rall set on his friendship. Its nature is not yet known to the Old Town Echoes; only its name, and where it is being kept.
- Named on a neatly folded scrap of paper handed to Freakshow at The Meridian, with a single line beneath it: currently in the Charterhall Bluecoat evidence lock-up. Oswin Rall will take the Old Town Echoes on as his clients and conduit — a partnership he expects to profit handsomely from — if they bring it to him. Asked whether the matter was urgent, he smiled unpleasantly and said he doubted that particular item was going anywhere soon. Session 13
- It is a painting, about three feet by five, kept wrapped in canvas on shelf 37A of the long-term evidence lock-up at Bluecoat Headquarters. It shows a beautiful woman in a flowing white gown on a precipice in a storm, one hand reaching up to the sky, painted so realistically that the thunder can almost be heard. When Boo and Nyx pulled away the canvas on 3 March, 848 IE, the woman in the painting turned, looked straight at them, startled, and screamed. Session 17
