An abandoned estate in the deteriorating district of Six Towers, its manor house long since vacated. The carriage house on the grounds was converted by Professor Lancaster into a clandestine alchemical laboratory. Every surface of the structure is inscribed with invisibility wards of remarkable sophistication—old work, powerful enough to hide even a death from the Spirit Wardens. The site also draws spirits inward, a consequence of prior ritual use of the space that has left the grounds saturated in residual power.
- The Old Town Echoes infiltrated the property, confronting multiple spirits on the grounds in the process. Inside, they found Lancaster’s body, his lingering ghost, a wall-spanning conspiracy board covered in encoded documents and the symbol of five interlocking circles, and an extensive clandestine chemistry laboratory. All materials were removed; Lancaster’s remains were dissolved with electroplasm. A spirit well is forming on the grounds—dismantling it is an ongoing project. If cleansed, the property—thoroughly hidden from both supernatural and civic detection—would serve as an ideal location for covert operations. Session 7
- The Dimmer Sisters granted the Old Town Echoes formal sufferance to use the property, requiring no tithe. In exchange, the crew agreed to deliver Lancaster’s bottled spirit to the Sisters and complete a job on their behalf. The deal was brokered by Sister Beatrice at the Sisters’ manor. Session 10
