Inspector Holt is an Inspector in the Charterhall Office of Special Inquests.
-
Has been inquiring after Professor Lancaster at Charterhall University. The university administration confirmed an Inspector has called asking about the missing professor. Session 3
-
Personally searched Lancaster’s Charterhall apartment in the hours before the Old Town Echoes arrived. He worked methodically and quietly, leaving the rooms largely undisturbed while pocketing a selection of documents from the writing desk. He departed before either the Red Sashes or the Echoes arrived. Session 4
-
Uncovered a massive city-wide poisoning and extortion plot, evidently utilizing the contents of Cyril Lancaster’s black book to publicly expose the professor’s crimes. Session 6
-
Arrived as a guest at Lord Kilgrave’s open house on the evening of 18 February, 848 IE — announced at the door as of the constabulary, with a young woman on his arm — while the Old Town Echoes were working the room disguised as hired servers. Session 15
-
Came to Lord Kilgrave’s open house on 18 February, 848 IE to corner the man alone, having already been refused more than once. He attended as the escort of Kilgrave’s cousin Vanessa, whom he had met at the Canary Club across town, and admitted as much to Kilgrave’s face while calling it a targeted opportunity. He waited out the study until the last guest left, then went in with a notepad and pencil. Session 16
-
Already knows the shape of Cyril Lancaster’s extortion of Lord Kilgrave. He put it to Kilgrave directly: that he had been poisoned, and that something had been asked of him before he would be given the antidote. He wanted to know what. Session 16
-
Stayed conspicuously unpanicked through the fire, the smoke and the collapsing guests — curious rather than alarmed, watching the room rather than leaving it. He was found standing at the study door studying the pedestal where the swap had been made, and then looked up and locked eyes with Boo as she left for the kitchens, tilting his head very slightly. Session 16
-
Found at three in the morning on 3 March, 848 IE at his own desk in a small third-floor bullpen of Bluecoat Headquarters, haggard and exhausted, head in hand beneath a small electroplasmic lamp, working through Cyril Lancaster’s black book and scribbling notes. The book is in his keeping rather than in the evidence lock-up. Freakshow and Watcher, disguised as Bluecoats, came upon him there. Session 17
