Um, so the way cohort works is you will recruit a cohort cohort.
That cohort has a type.

Um, but if it’s a gang, basically what you do is you pick the type of gang, like whether they’re bruises or.
Um, um, you know, alchemists or sneaks or whatever.
And then you get to choose, um, a number of edges and flaws.

And basically you have to take an equal number of edges and flaws.
And there is an edge called, um, loyal.
So you have the option to remove that particular DM fuckery knob.
Um, if you choose during the creation.
Basically the way it works is they follow your tier.

You can also, uh, lead them directly either by.
Making whatever role you want them to do or by using command and, uh, that can work as a group action.

Um, the edges and flaws for edges, you can pick fearsome, you can pick independent, meaning the cohort can be trusted to make good decisions and act on their own initiative in the absence of direct orders.
Loyal, the cohort can’t be bribed or turned against you.

And tenacious, the cohort won’t be deterred from a task.
And flaws are principle, the cohort has an ethical value that it won’t betray, savage, the cohort is excessively vying cruel, unreliable, the cohort isn’t always available to other obligations,
stupification from vices, etc.
And while the cohort is drunken, debauched and loudmouthed.
You may by spending additional experience add an additional type to a cohort, uh, versus like recruiting a second one, but, um, um, anyway.
