The Sisters rarely appear in person, preferring to communicate through intermediaries or—on rare occasions—through the shuttered window of a black lacquered carriage. Even then, a veil intervenes. - The [[Old Town Echoes]] sheltered at [[Lancaster's Carriage House]]—unknowingly within Dimmer Sisters territory—on 1 January, 848 IE, while evading the [[Reclaimer's Circle]]. A representative arrived by black carriage drawn by Acrosian goats and informed the crew the property was her sister's claim. She made clear the crew were welcome to continue using the space, provided they came to speak with the Sisters at their manor first, and had the coachman deliver an unmarked card bearing the address.
